If you are not currently associated with an organization, you can seek out a leader in your local community. Ask the leader about their experiences in leadership. Based on your interview, compare and contrast the leader with the leadership styles from the unit lesson that are listed below: ? charismatic leadership, ? situational leadership, ? contingency leadership, ? citizen leadership, ? servant leadership, and ? transformational/transactional continuum. Be sure to also ask about the leader’s impact on the community they serve. For example, how does their leadership contribute to the community? Also, ask the leader about a failed leadership experience and what they learned from that experience. Once you have completed the interview, you will summarize what you have learned in a report that is at least two pages in length. You should use at least your textbook as a reference so that you can show the correlation between the interview and what you have learned in this unit. Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment, and make sure you have a title page and set your paper up properly.
